One of the most productive areas on the reservoir as the bay holds fish all season. At early season water levels are high so the sport can be fantastic. As the level drops fish tend to move further out and distance casting can be needed.
Easy access and the most popular bank, this is one of several stocking points and fish can be found here all season. At times long casting is required due to bank and boat pressure, however, fish can also be found close in due to the deep water.
Another very consistent area with fish along the total length of the bank and right into the ski bay. Please note if water skiing is taking place, anglers are requested to move from this area. Deep water is found very close in and is ideal for all methods. Beware with bank casting in the ski bay as trees are along the length of the bank.
Located 12 miles west of Bellingham, Kielder is easily accessible from the A69 at Hexham.
